Shipping Preferences: Beatrice is bisexual and polyamorous, but is still working out things related to romance and sex. Attraction and romantic/sexual tension is highly welcome, and acting on those comes with a conditional "maybe" at this point. Off-Limits: Nothing scatological. That's it. Misc: Beatrice has another form beyond the one that she usually displays in Noctium. This is described through hovertext, in part because it is a spoiler. If your character has abilities to see through illusions, they will see both her outer form as "Beatrice" and that other form. Beatrice has magic that can essentially warp reality. Essentially Beato’s magic as it manifests in Noctium is the ability to tell a story about the world and make it true. She tells an alternate narrative about events that have happened and makes that narrative “real.” To be clear, she is not actually altering history, but putting a new coat of paint on the present reality. Examples: Beatrice wants to open a locked door. She tells the story that somebody forgot to lock the door in the first place, and it opens. She wants to heal somebody who was injured. She says that the injury is less serious than it looks, and it is. Beatrice wants to make somebody sick. She says that their lunch gave them food poisoning. This magic comes with limitations, however. - It can only rewrite events that happened in the last few hours. - It can only replicate effects already achievable by human effort, ie opening a lock or treating a wound. - It is undone within a few hours of the spell being cast. An injury reverts to its previous severity, for example. - If somebody convincingly can argue that Beatrice’s “narrative” never happened, her magic is immediately undone. - It requires Manna, obviously. - It is limited to a small, personal scope. - She cannot bring people back to life, unless medicine could already save them, and she cannot directly cause somebody to die or experience life-threatening illness or injury.
